I'm a professional chef and integrative nutrition health coach. I specialize in helping my clients learn how easy it is to cook healthy, nutritious foods by teaching one on one culinary workshops!

One on One in Home Culinary Education "Let your kitchen be your workshop"
This customized workshop is for those individuals who want an overhaul of their kitchen, help with shopping skills, understanding hidden ingredients and one on one culinary education in their kitchen to learn basic or advanced culinary skills.

My approach is to place focus and emphasis on organic, whole foods, of high quality that both promote and support optimal health. I focus on a diet emphasizing the importance of plant based foods, whole grains, legumes, nuts, healthy fats, clean organic or wild caught proteins, and promote a lifestyle of organic, non GMO living. Together we'll work to achieve your goals in areas such
as optimal weight, creating more time and freedom to do what you love, understanding food cravings, how to tap into your natural energy, anti-inflammatory foods and learn to cook foods that support good health. As we work together, you'll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and your family and implement lasting changes that will improve your overall well being.

Examples of topics covered in a customized one on one culinary workshops:
 Learn how to cook for a specific or elimination diet
. Learn healthy substitutions for ingredients
. Learn how to incorporate more vegetables into your diet
Learn the benefits of healthy fats and how to add them to your diet
. Learn different methods of cooking proteins. 
Learn how to be creative with fresh and dried spices. 
Learn how to make mock pastas and rice. 
Learn how to create healthy snacks for quick meals on the go.

My Education and Certifications:

Board Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach - I received my training as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition
and am board certified through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world's top health and wellness experts. My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching and preventive health.
I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

I received my formal culinary training from Cook Street School of Fine Cooking in Denver, CO as well as certification from the Chef De Cuisine Association of Colorado. Continued culinary education at Johnson & Wales, Charlotte, NC for immersion in global cuisine.

Certification as a gluten practitioner for in depth scientific research based perspective on gluten sensitivity and celiac disease and how gluten can play a major roll in auto immune diseases. Further education through Hawthorn University focused on nutrition and how it relates to gluten intolerance, celiac disease, and autism spectrum disorders. The Institute for Brain Potential continuing education courses How Nutrients Affect Mental Health and the Brain and Understanding the Gut Brain connection to Stress, Appetite, Digestion and Mood.
